Bumper fun day to raise funds brave baby fighting a life-threatening condition

The family of a brave baby fighting a life-threatening condition have arranged a major fund-raising day.

The Butler family, who live in Roughton near Woodhall Spa, are looking to raise money to help care for daughter Olivia who was diagnosed at nine months old with an extremely rare and life limiting condition called ‘EIEE5/Ohtahara Syndrome’. The condition has left Olivia with a number of problems and she needs round-the-clock care.

A bumper family fun day will be held at the Bain Valley Fisheries in Tattershall Thorpe on September 4

Mum Stacey said: “Some lovely locals and ourselves are holding a day that is going to be packed full of fun and entertainment for all the family.

“We have lots confirmed already but much much more to come!

“The day is not just about raising funds. It’s also a big thank you to everyone for their support

“We hope everyone will join us for a memorable day.”

Although plans are still being finalised, the event will feature a range of attractions, including a bar, live bands and vocalists, dancing, a ‘Jazzacise’ demonstration class, face painting and glitter tattoos, a display by Rosewood Falconry and a chance to have-a-go at archery.

There will be hot food available, along with cake stalls, craft stalls, a bouncy castle, ice cream, a kids’ area, tombola. and a big prize raffle.
