Firefighters take on gruelling seven-mile challenge for charity
Many of the firefighters, based at Woodhall Spa Community Fire Station, completed the route to Horncastle Community Fire Station in full training gear, including helmet and boots.
The Horncastle News spoke to firefighter Jake Watson who organised the challenge.

“Normally we would do a car wash as a typical fundraising activity but with covid that was impossible.
“The charity has had a huge reduction in funding which is why I initially came up with the idea.
“I thought it would be a good way of fundraising without involving the public too much.”

Jake added: “Everyone who started the challenge finished so it was a nice achievement.”
