Firefighters have raised thousands of pounds for charity after lathering up to wash residents' dirty cars.

Fire crews worked up a sweat in a series of car washes across Lincolnshire, to raise money for the Fire Fighters Charity.

North Somercotes station raised £385

Billinghay station raised £319.35

Boston station raised £390.61

Donington station raised £350

Binbrook station raised £470

Market Deeping raised £653, with match funding from Barclays bringing the total to £1,306
