'One week to go': Have your say on Skegness Lumley Street lights
There’s just one week left for Skegness residents to have their say on the new streetlight scheme for the town centre.
A three-week engagement on rhe controversial project in Lumley Road closes at midnight on Monday, February 9, so anyone who hasn’t yet taken part is being urged to make their choice online before the deadline.
The online consultation shows the different streetlight options being considered for Lumley Road, along with details of costs and other key factors.
Local county councillor Jimmy Brookes said: “Now that we’ve got a week to go, I would really like to ask anyone who wants to take part, but hasn’t yet, to get online and make their choice known.
“We want to make sure as many people as possible are involved. What the people of Skegness tell us will have a real impact on what happens next. It’s important everyone who wants to take part does so.
“A big thank you to everyone who has already submitted their choice, and to those who will do so this week. We’ll let you know the outcome as soon as we have it.”
