Suayp Dogan, of Fancy Lounge Ltd, has applied to Boston Borough Council to turn the first floor of 27-29 West Street, which was home to West End Furnishings, into a nightclub.

The second floor would be used as a bar, while the third would be turned into a glazed roof terrace at the rear of the building – including an electric awning.

In documents to the authority, the owners said the bar would open at 10am every day, while the nightclub will open at 9pm on Fridays and Saturdays.

They said it would hire 13 people.

The documents said the changes would: “at any one time, boost local employment; and, especially with the likely clientele, bring further transactions to the area, encourage good service to the local people who are attracted to the area.”

West End Furnishings has been vacant for around more than seven months.

The ground floor shop was given permission to be turned into a restaurant in December.

Fancy Lounge was also given permission early last year to convert the former Railway Social Club, on Sleaford Road, into a bar and restaurant – promising 23 new jobs.
