Despite the challenging climate, Uncle Henry’s, near Grayingham, is set to host a Halloween to remember, as the season of pumpkins, ghosts and ghouls descends.

The popular Pumpkin Patch returns, set in the Shire Field and brimming with seasonal orange pumpkins for visitors to pick, pose with and carve.

Adult and child carving kits are available in the farm shop to buy, or customers can take along their own tools.

There’s benches and bins galore for would-be artists to make as much mess as they like, before taking their carved beauties home.

Ghastly Golf sees the summer’s Farmyard Crazy Golf course enjoy a Halloween makeover.

Putt past the Witches’ Windmill, the Owl Hole, the Haunted Dairy and six other seasonally themed mini golfing greens for glory.

Set in the atmospheric Walled Garden, visitors can also tour the Fairy Trail and take a bounce on the Jumping Pillow.

The venue’s enormous five-acre Maize Maze completes the seasonal line-up, with the ‘find the letters’ challenge from the summer giving way to a spooky set of nine Halloween characters to track down before visitors are challenged to make their way out…alive.

Not to be outdone, the cafe will be offering extended opening hours for adventurers returning from the maze later in the day and will be serving themed specials from 10am until 6pm (last orders 5pm).

Tickets are £8 per person for the Halloween Maze and Ghastly Golf, £4 per person for Pumpkin Picking, with under 2s going free. Tickets must be booked in advance. For details visit www.unclehenrys.co.uk
