Petrol station and shop donate funds to school library

Baxter's Garage in Ruskington and Spar have each made a £150 donation to a Ruskington primary school.

Ruskington Chestnut Street CE Primary Academy was pleased to receive the donations from the two businesses who have premises in the village, with the cash going towards resources for the children in the school.

Headteacher Laura Suffield said: “Following a meeting with the School Council it has been decided to put the money towards buying new books to add to classroom libraries and the main school library.

“We are really looking forward to choosing the new books and appreciate very much the donation to the school.”
