The Frompsons take Binbrook quiz title
Binbrook's annual village quiz saw 13 teams battle it out for the top title.
Over 10 themed rounds, representatives of many local clubs got the grey cells working in a bid to win the parish council challenge cup, and it was a very close fought thing.
Winning by just half a mark, on 82.5, were The Frompsons - Ernie Thompson, Lynne Frame, Ian Frame and Karen Thompson who run the village hall bar - and they received their award from Doug Spivey, who devised the quiz and acted as quiz master.
In second place was last year’s winners, The Bludgers, and in third the WI Wingers (73.5).
