VIDEO: World Book Day at Belton
Healthy eating and time travel were topics covered in World Book Day workshops at an Isle school this week.
Actress Gemma Moorhouse from the Education Group’s Story Factory held workshops in Belton’s All Saints’ Primary School, to celebrate the special date.
Year groups throughout the school had their own sessions tailored to work they are studying in class.
Y3 and 4 teacher Ann Black said: “The children became very involved with the activity and you could see their enthusiasm building within the workshops.”
Key Stage One pupils also got the chance to dress up as their favourite book characters for school. See next week’s Epworth Bells for pictures.
