Upholstery classes - Lesley Leonard will be back in action with a team of upholstery students on September 20, offering both morning and afternoon sessions, from 10am to noon and 12.30pm to 2.30pm.

During the ten-week course, the students, with expert guidance from qualified tutor Lesley, will have the opportunity to make some amazing transformations to well-loved favourite pieces of furniture, as they restore what are very often treasured family heirlooms.

Classes are also held in Welton, Tealby and Hemingby.

New for this year are Saturday morning workshops in the town hall, with dates set as October 1, October 15 and November 19.

There will be day workshops too, from 9.30am to 4.30pm on a monthly basis in the town hall, with the first booked for Thursday, September 29, plus a two-day workshop in Horncastle in October.

For more information, call Lesley on 01673 842492 or email [email protected].

Scouts - Members of Guiding and Scouting in Wragby are holding a jumble sale in the town hall on Saturday, September 24, at 2pm.

They hope to raise vital funds to purchase another defibrillator for the village.

Donations of jumble, tombola items, raffle prizes, bric-a-brac and cakes are welcome, as is help on the day.

Goods may be taken to the town hall from noon on the day.

Supper club - As the light evenings grow shorter, the supper club’s programme of indoor meetings will be launched with the annual Lincolnshire evening, which is being arranged for Friday, October 21.

Tickets and more information are available from Mo Fricke on 01673 858334 or Sue Johnson on 01673 858265.
