Lincolnshire Women make big progress over a successful summer
This summer has seen a hugely encouraging season for Lincolnshire Women, with the squad taking a significant step forward and showing just how much progress is being made across Tier 3 cricket.
Their Vitality T20 campaign saw them record four wins from 10 games.

While T20 remains an area they want to develop, the competition provided valuable experience and plenty of opportunities for the squad to grow.
But it was in the 50-over competition where they really made their mark.
Two excellent victories were followed by a frustrating rained-off game in Northumberland, before a competitive performance against eventual undefeated champions Suffolk.
That result ultimately saw them finish runners-up, a fantastic achievement and a clear indication of the progress being made.
One of the biggest positives has been the strength coming through the pathway and Lincolnshire’s growing female recreational game.
New players have stepped into the squad and several pathway players have successfully made the transition into senior cricket, providing an exciting foundation for the future.
There is a real sense of momentum around Lincolnshire Women.
With additional players looking to be added over the winter, their ambition for 2027 is to compete strongly, consistently and confidently across every Tier 3 competition.
