The Caincross run, at Chambers Woods, near Wragby, is where individuals attach themselves to their dog and charge across the countryside through mud and over hills.

The event takes place at 9am on Saturday, March 5, and is organised by Canicross Midlands and Sport England’s This Girl Can campaign.

Lincolnshire Sport chief executive officer Janet Inman said: “What better reason to get out your trainers and try a new sport than for Sport Relief?

“We hope ladies across Lincolnshire feel inspired to get involved.”

Anyone can turn up and take part - and are asked to run in fancy dress.
