Gary Edgley has warned his Boston Town squad to expect a tough test at Blackstones as the Poachers kick off their FA Cup campaign on tonight.

The Poachers will make the trip to their Lincolnshire rivals in the extra-preliminary round (KO 7.45pm).

“It’s no gimme,” Edgley said of facing the UCL Division One side.

“In the FA Cup there are no easy games because it means so much to those players, like it should do.”

If the Poachers can get past their United Counties League Division One hosts they will entertain Coalville in the preliminary round.

Tonight's winners will pocket £1,125 in prize money with the losers awarded £375.

Prizemoney is roughly half of what it was last season, but Edgley has no complaints.

“It does bring good revenue into the clubs if you can get two or three rounds out of it, it helps out,” he added.

Town will host UCL Premier Division rivals Sleaford Town in the FA Vase on September 19.
