Boston United squad giving Craig Elliott a selection headache ahead of play-off semi-final
Craig Elliott admits the Boston United squad are giving him a selection headache.
The Pilgrims boss has been impressed with the attitude of his players since they returned to training.

Hide AdAnd as United prepare to host Gateshead on Saturday (KO 5.30pm) at York Street in the National League North play-off semi-finals, the manager has some thinking to do.
The four-month break from action means he has no form to go on, other than the 3-3 friendly draw at Notts County last week... which only raised more questions in Elliott's mind.
"The Notts County game has thrown me a little bit as there were some good performances from lads who probably were on the fringes, who did really well," he told The Standard.
"Notts had a strong team out.
"It's going to be difficult, there's a lot of positions up for grabs. It means nothing what you did in December or January, it's what you're doing now that counts.

Hide Ad"Some lads have trained really well and surprised me. It's going to be tough."
No matter who is named in the starting XI, Elliott also knows his players on the bench will also have their parts to play.
He added: "The subs have made a big impact in the other games, so maybe Plan B will be a big weapon as well."
United will train for the final time ahead of Saturday's game this evening, with players also undergoing their weekly COVID-19 tests.

Hide AdThe previous four rounds have seen all players and staff come back negative.
However, if anyone tests positive they will have to self-isolate for seven days and be unavailable for selection this weekend.
"It's just a fingers crossed job," said chairman David Newton.
"We're doing everything we can to keep people safe. I have to say the management team and the players have been brilliant.
