A goal from Theo Williams and a brace from Liam Korytnicky were enough to bring all three points home.

Both sides struggled on a difficult surface but, despite the conditions, Sleaford fought back with a late equaliser in the first half after Rasen had taken the lead through a goal by Zachary Shaw on 39 minutes.

Market Rasen dominated the second half, netted twice, and could have added to their tally. But the whole squad delivered an accomplished performance to secure another impressive result.

They sit second behind Appleby Frodingham Development, who have also started well, desmolishing Grimsby United 5-1 last weekend.

This Saturday Rasen take a break from league action to travel to Premier Division side Spilsby Town in the Challenge Cup with a 3pm kick off.

Spilsby have not had the best of starts, drawing two and losing two of their opening four games in the top flight, losing 2-1 at home to Brigg Town on Saturday.
