Lincolnshire League: Market Rasen Town face Wyberton opener
Football returns this weekend as Market Rasen Town begin their 2016/17 Lincolnshire League campaign with a double-header.
Town struggled for much of last season, finishing second-bottom and chalking up only four wins from 22 matches.
But a new season begins with renewed optimism as Rasen hit the road on Saturday for a tricky opener at last season’s top three side Wyberton (kick-off 3pm).
They then kick off their home matches at Rase Park on Tuesday (6.45pm) when Cleethorpes Town Development Squad are the visitors.
