More of the same, please! Garner calls on Boston United to keep winning run going against Gloucester

Boston travel to Cheltenham to take on mid-table Gloucester City.
After recording four straight wins, and seven victories from eight National League North contests, the skipper wants more of the same.

Hide AdThe Pilgrims are without a fixture next weekend, and Garner knows that three points today will continue to pile pressure on the club’s title rivals, meaning the squad will be able to enjoy watching the results come in next Saturday, rather than rueing a missed opportunity.
“I was saying to the lads, it’s 90 minutes, go and get three points and then have two weeks off looking forward to the next game,” Garner said.
The captain was also proud of the team’s current form, adding: “We do get annoyed when we concede, but we go out to score goals and we’re relentless now as well.”
The mid-table Tigers have claimed five of their nine victories at home this season, but have also drawn twice and been beaten six times at Whaddon Road.
Last season United earned a 1-0 victory in this fixture courtesy of Mark Jones’ late strike.
Kick off will be at 3pm.
