National League side to host Boston United in pre-season friendly

Boston United will play a pre-season friendly at FC Halifax Town, it has been announced.

The Shaymen revealed the warm-up fixture - which is due to take place on September 19 (KO 3pm) - last night.

It will mean a return to the Shay for United's summer recruit Jordan Burrow and Scott Garner, who scored the winning goal in the 2017 play-off final to earn Halifax promotion to the National League.

The friendly is due to take place behind closed doors.
