Plenty of festive fun at Market Rasen GC
Forty ladies turned out to play in the Lady Captain’s Drive-In and the Christmas Hamper competition at Market Rasen Golf Club.
Sue Borthwick won the drive-in while Debbie Sinfield was first in the hamper event.
Luckily the early mist soon cleared and the weather was kind as Linda Reeve, the new captain of the Ladies’ section, teed off.
Sinfield recorded 37 points, one ahead of runner-up Susan Smith.
Jane Salt, also on 36 points, was third with Helen Wilson (35 points) fourth and Sharman Smith (33 points) in fifth spot.
The winner of the Christmas Spirit Captain’s choice was Marilyn Tompkins, whose outfit complete with antlers was in the festive spirit.
