Champion Kyle Ryde determined to stay on top as British Superbike Championshiop heads for Cadwell Park
The ZYN British Superbike Championship returns to Louth for a sensational August Bank Holiday weekend of two-wheel action (29th-31st August) at Cadwell Park.
One of the greatest spectacles in motorsport, this August Bank Holiday bonanza will see the world’s leading national superbike category tackle Lincolnshire’s ‘Mini-Nürburgring’, featuring three headline ZYN BSB races and a packed grid of multiple champions and young stars.

The fight to be crowned Pirelli King of the Mountain is set to be razer-tight, with reigning champion Kyle Ryde in fine form as he chases a record-breaking third consecutive title, but former MotoGP and WorldSBK ace Scott Redding, 2022 champion Bradley Ray and a resurgent Ryan Vickers have all claimed victories this season.
Ryde is determined to maintain his edge at the top of the standings ahead of the Showdown.
With three races of the main season remaining this weekend in Lincolnshire ahead of the Showdown opener at the TT Circuit Assen, the Nitrous Coin Nitrous Competitions Racing rider is focused on continuing his momentum.
“I am looking forward to Cadwell Park, it’s always a special weekend for riders, teams and the fans to come and watch,” he said.
“Hopefully we get loads of fans there this weekend.
“I am looking forward to Superpole, as we only do it once a year and we have a lot of track time with the test to start things off, so that’s good as it is still a new bike for me around that track.
“It won’t be easy, it took me a few years to get used to the Yamaha around there and then eventually it became one of my best tracks somehow.
“I never used to get on with it, but the last couple of seasons it has been a good track for me, so whatever is thrown at us, I am sure we will be okay.
“We want a few more trophies hopefully, so we can build the championship ready for the Showdown.”
Three headline ZYN BSB races will entertain across the bank holiday weekend, while a packed campsite, live music, sensational views of the racing and giant TV screens all create a lively festival atmosphere.
Camping tickets for this event are sold out and admission tickets are only available on the gate, with further reductions for 13-15 year olds and free entry for U13s.
