Hicky, who lives near Cadwell Park, took part in a two day test at Snetterton just a few weeks ago and has the advantage of finding a good set-up for the coming weekend’s two races. He is confident he can power the JG Speedfit Kawasaki through to some good results and is looking forward to the challenge of the fast and technical old airfield circuit.

The weekend begins with two free practice sessions on Friday at 10.15am and 3.15pm followed by the final free practice at 10.45am on Saturday. The three stage qualifying takes place from 4.02pm on Saturday with the final session for the fastest nine riders setting the grid for Sunday’s opening race.

There is a short warm-up on Sunday at 9.15am for the riders to check everything is OK with the bikes for the start of the first 16 lap race at 1pm. The fastest lap times in race one set the grid for the second 16 lap affair which is due on track at 4.40pm.

Qualifying and both races are scheduled to be televised live on British Eurosport 2.
