Boston Golf Club's ladies section joined forces with the 11 o'clockers for a Spooky Halloween Texas Scramble.

There were 12 teams of one lady and two men, each given names in keeping with the Halloween theme.

The winners were The Munsters, Fran Grant, Nev Kemp and Tony Riley, returning a score of 61.5.

The runners-up were Tomb Raiders, a team including Ann Hodgson, Geoff Gurrett and Jim Black, with 64.9.

Gruesome Threesome - Kay Kadzionis, Mick Pond and Ralph Grimes - finished third with 65.3.

The ladies held their first roll up of the winter season.

Playing over 10 holes were teams of three, playing a pink ball, with one other to score.

The winning threesome of Pam Hyde, Pam Bett and Jean Markham came in with 41 points. The runners-up were Barbara Unwin, Lynn Worthington and Chris Sherriff with 34 points.

Chris Needham and Ann Hodgson played against Joan Young and Jacquie Short in the Kath Bradley Winter Knockout, Chris and Ann were victorious to book their place in the semis.

Nineteen teams from around the county played in the Winter Waltz Am-Am.

The winning team with a score of 83 point were Clare Welfare, Jill Emmerson, Liz Emmerson (Seacroft) and Sylvia Mowbray (Market Rasen).

The runners-up were Anita Cordery, Sue Pawson, Jane Ross and Anna Fray from Elton Furze.

Third with 79 points were Lincoln’s Gill Chatterton, N. Tathan, R. Broughton and K. Barron.
