Singles leagues are back at tennis club

Competitive action has resumed at Boston Tennis Club, with the summer Bombay Brasserie Singles Leagues.

Both the daytime and evening leagues are underway.

Some familiar names are appearing in the singles league, with the stalwarts also taking on some different contestants.

In the Bombay Brasserie Singles League - which can be played at any time of the week, evenings or at weekends - Jeremy George-Jones, Michal Chmielik and William Cheer are in the top division this month.

In the second group are Calum McCaig, Pawel Aranin and Philippe Servonat, with David Dunlop, Alejandro Gozalvez, Tom Piggins and Dylan Baker in the third tier.

The Bombay Brasserie Singles Daytime League again sees Jeremy George-Jones in top spot, alongside Geoff Presland and Ian Scott.

In group two are Phil Cosgriff, Chris Mepham and Steve Olczak.

They are parallel with Richard Tupper, Dylan Baker and Terry Mastin in the second division two.

In the two parallel third groups are Sue Burnett, Philippe Servonat, Pawel Aranin, Nick Morris and John Tooley.

All matches will be completed by the end of the month.

Coaching can be arranged or a hit with a coach can be set up on the club’s online booking system.

This can be found on Boston Tennis Club’s website at www.bostontennis.co.uk.

This allows you to book one-to-one sessions with one of five coaches or speak directly to the coaches.
