People in Lincoln have been urged to ensure that they pay the best fares, as they get out and about, to make the most of the city - with a Megarider offering the chance to save money every day.

From early starts to late finishes, a Lincoln Megarider allows you to travel across the entire Lincoln Megarider zone – these 7-day and 28-day tickets are designed for everyday journeys, whether it’s commuting, college, shopping, or evenings out.

A 7-day Megarider costs just £3.43 per day, which compares to £6 for two single journeys - and with one ticket, there is no hassle of needing to buy a new ticket every day.

Matt Cranwell, Managing Director of Stagecoach East Midlands, which offers the Lincoln Megarider ticket, said: "We find that many people get the bus because it is easy and convenient for them, and it can also be great value, but you need to make sure that you get the right ticket for you.

“If you’re hopping on the bus most days, a Megarider simply makes sense. With flexible 7-day and even better-value 28-day options, you can pick the ticket that fits your routine and your budget. The Stagecoach App gives you all the information you need, including live tracking of all buses, and the ability to fully plan your journeys and buy tickets.

“From early until late, wherever you’re heading – we’ve got you, with the Lincoln Megarider. So, maybe you can choose to skip the traffic, and still get out and about around the city, with one ticket and no parking. Or you can meet your friends and head to the cinema for less than the price of your popcorn – it’s great value to tap and go.”
