A flight simulator can help decide whether flying is for you, and a plane spotting trail is perfect for youngsters.

A spokesman said: “We’re really looking forward to our Summer Fun event at Cranwell Aviation Heritage Centre. We’ve hosted the event now for 3 years and visitors really enjoy taking part in the activities and seeing the cockpits that are on display. The RAF Firefighting Museum proved very popular last year as they brought along vintage vehicles and equipment so definitely a must see for this year.”

Free entry and children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. For more info, call NKDC Tourism Team on 01529 308102 or email [email protected]
