Photography club to hold open evening
A local photography club is focussing on attracting new members while proudly showing off some of the images they have captured over the last 12 months.
Triangle Photography Club will be holding an open evening from 7pm on Friday, November 27 at Bishop Norton village hall.
Club director Chris Rainsforth, explained: “We are local camera enthusiasts and meet every fortnight on a Wednesday at the Bishop Norton village hall to show our images we have taken.
"We have a monthly theme that we try and get pictures of, and we have the occasional trip out. Our last one was to Cadwell to the car racing.”
He added: “We have around 15 members so far but are looking to build on this and this will be our third annual open evening.
"This will entail a display of our images both printed and on a digital screen as well as a macro and wildlife workshop. We will serve refreshments and we have a great raffle.
"The evening is to show what we have done over the year and see if anyone is keen to join us or learn a new skill.
“Bring a camera if you like, all are welcome - free admission.”
