Badapple Theatre presents The Thankful Village, the third play in their centennial Great War series.

This play follows the lives of three women from the same rural household - above and below stairs - through the long years of the Great war, left behind as their menfolk march off to Flanders.

Each one faces up to the challenge in their own way, waiting for news of their loved ones.

They cannot know that their village will end the war as one of a very few communities who didn’t lose one of their number.

The Thankful Village is an original comedy drama by Kate Bramley, with music by Jez Lowe.

Advance tickets cost £10 (£11 on the door), under 18s £3, from Tealby Shop, 01673838718.
