Marton Henry Woods, 27, of Blue Street who admitted threatening behaviour, was said to have attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) which caused him to act disproportionately.

Prosecuting, Jim Clare said he was seen standing on a gravestone at Boston Stump waving around the wrench during an argument with his former partner's siblings in an incident on December 14, and threatening them he would 'smash you in the face' if they didn't 'shut up'.

Beris Brickles, mitigating, said he had gone to find his ex-partner after discovering their home had been broken into and he had acted disproportionately because of his condition.

He said the brother and sister had been protecting their sister, who had now resumed the relationship with Woods.

Woods was fined £120 and ordered to pay £117 in court costs and charges.
