Police warning after fuel stolen from cars in Horncastle and Woodhall Spa
Police have issued a warning after the theft of fuel from a number of parked vehicles in the area last week.
They say fuel tanks have been ‘drilled’ while vehicles have been parked in Queen Street and Prospect Street in Horncastle - and in Monument Road in Woodhall Spa.
Police said: “We are asking people to report any information re this or if they have witnessed any suspicious activity via 101 quoting incident number 66 of Friday, January 15.
“Also, please check your fuel level when starting your vehicles as we don’t want people becoming stranded.”
