Dancing around the world

Rotherham Hospice is giving people the chance to learn not just one, but four different dance styles in one day.

The Dance Around the World event challenges people to try out dance styles from across the globe at Silverwood Miners’ Welfare from 9.30am to 3.30pm on Sunday 19th May. Registration is £5 per person and includes a buffet lunch.

The event is suitable for beginners and experienced dancers and there will be many types of dance to learn. You don’t even need a dancing partner.

Fundraiser Anne Giblin said “This is an exciting opportunity for people of all ages and dancing backgrounds to come together and pick up something different from local dance teachers, while supporting the hospice.”
