Set to take place starting on June 29, NCS is a government-backed initiative that provides 16-17 year-olds the chance to take on new challenges, make long-lasting friends, and develop key life skills that will enhance their university and job applications.

Phil Everett, Communications Manager for NCS in Lincolnshire, Rutland, Leicestershire and Northamptonshire, known as NCS EM1, said: “Summer is always our most popular programme because it’s four full weeks where the teens can bond with other NCSers, form lasting friendships and experience a number of new and exciting activities.

“It’s not long to go until it begins, so it’s important that any Lincolnshire teens that are looking to have the summer of a lifetime sign up for the programme now!”

Priced at just £35, the summer programme includes a week of team-building activities such as archery and rock climbing, an away-from-home residential featuring skills-building workshops and a social action project that offers participants a chance to give back to their local communities. Food and accommodation are included in the cost.
