Mayor of Sleaford to host Indian banquet to boost disabled children's charity

Mayor of Sleaford, Coun David Suiter, will be holding a charity Indian banquet on two nights this month.

With the help of the India Garden restaurant in Sleaford Market Place, Coun Suiter will be raising money for Rainbow Stars, a local support group for children with autism and other disabilities, one of his chosen charities for the year.

The banquet nights will be held on March 27 and 28 and the restaurant will be donating 25 per cent of the takings from the meals.

Starting from 6pm each evening, the fixed price three-course meal will be £20 per head with mixed starters, main dish of chicken korma, jalfrezi or tikka masala, side dish of roast potatoes and carrots, with poppadoms, plus rice or naan (vegetarian option on request).
