Family bingo – Happy Birthday was sung to John Kane, a regular helper, at the recent Saturday Night Family Bingo sessions and on this occasion he was on duty on the charity tombola which raised £43 for the Army Benevolent Fund.

There were also happy birthdays to Lucy and Amy Lowman.

The usual fun night of bingo was had by all and the evening raised £87 for the town hall refurbishing fund.

Parish meeting – The Annual Parish Meeting for all electors in Wragby will be held at the Town Hall tonight (Monday, April 4) starting at 7pm and all are invited to attend and take the opportunity to discuss issues of interest in the parish.

The Annual Meeting of the Parish Council, when officers are elected, will be held on Monday, May 9.

The meeting will start at 7.15pm with a 15 minute open session to give members of the public an opportunity to raise matters of interest and concern, with the meeting formally opened at 7.30pm.

Disability lunch – Roast beef and all the trimmings were on the menu for the members of the Wragby branch of Disability Lincs and their guests in the town hall.

All were pleased to welcome Olive Paul back and thoughts were with Ralph Humberston, who has not recovered sufficiently well to be able to return to meetings .

A rousing chorus of Happy Birthday was sung to Margaret Clark as she was due to celebrate her birthday the next day.

Jumble – A jumble sale was held in the town hall on March 12, which raised £400 towards All Saints’ Church funds.

Grateful thanks were given to all who supported the event and donated raffle prizes, jumble and bric-a-brac.
