We will play worse and win says Boston United manager Paul Hurst after latest home setback against Wealdstone
Despite a third home defeat in four games, Boston United manager Paul Hurst knows it was fine margins in Saturday's 3-1 loss to Wealdstone.
Boston failed to build on Jamie Grimes' early opener and were guilty of conceding twice in a minute after the break.

But at 1-0 nothing went for them, Lenell John-Lewis having a penalty saved, and Hurst said: “I think we will play a lot worse and win a game of football.
“We had the penalty saved and the offside goal and we hit the woodwork twice.
“And we had another couple of penalty shouts.
“At least today I feel like we put Wealdstone under some pressure. The game was there. At 1-0 up we were relatively comfortable.
“We gave away a poor goal but then had the opportunity to go in front with the penalty but the keeper had made a good save – it happens.
“Then we had the disappointment of going 2-1 behind. If it had stayed at 2-1 then I have a feeling we'd have got something from the game. At 3-1, despite still having a go, it makes life extremely difficult.”
He continued: “It's all about the end result and we found a way to not win the game.
“I have total respect for Wealdstone. But I feel we gave them a real leg up and contributed to the defeat rather than being beaten by a team that has totally outplayed us.
“There were moments in the game that made a big difference.
“When you go 2-1 down, as disappointing as that is, you can't concede another goal so quickly. The players still had a go and the crowd lifted at 3-1 down and we were still pushing to get back in the game. We had a few efforts right up until the last kick and Terrell (Agyemang) hit the crossbar.
“The players were still trying, but we've got to cut out silly mistakes and be better at the basics of the game and try to understand what it requires to win games. We still look a bit naïve at certain times.”
The Pilgrims had hoped to open the brand new £4 million South Stand and Sports Hub project to away fans for the first time on Saturday, but a pre-match incident in the new concourse kitchen forced the evacuation of the away area - although all supporters were re-admitted to the East Stand in time for kick-off.
Boston did pull off a coup last week after securing highly-rated West Brom prospect Ollie Bostock on loan until January.
The 19-year-old Welsh U21 international winger scored once in seven Championship appearances last season and made another senior outing in the Carabao Cup.
Named Young Player of the Season, in May he was called up to the Wales senior squad for the first time.
