Boston Rugby Club Ladies are preparing for a return to competitive action in June.

The Notts, Lincs and Derbyshire RFU will be hosting a competition this summer for interested sides, with the Blue and Whites set to be involved.

“We’re going to put in some friendlies in May and it’s going to be a short, sweet competition,” said head coach Paul Beard.

“Four or five game weekends and then back to pre-season ready for the following season. We’re going to have a little bit of competition just to get something back from this season.

“We can’t wait. I think a lot of the players have worked hard on their fitness so I’m really excited to see how that’s added to their game.”
