Thousands of revellers flocked to enjoy acts like Reverend and The Makers and Space at the 2016 Mosborough Music Festival.
And plans are already under way for next year’s event – at a new location.
This year was the last at the former Westfield School site in Mosborough as it is set to be redeveloped, so next year’s will take place at Don Valley Bowl in Attercliffe – but organiser Steve Cowen has pledged to keep prices the same.
A festival spokesman said: “We have frozen ticket prices for our 2017 festival at Don Valley Bowl Sheffield – the seventh year without a price increase.
“Despite the higher costings of our move to Don Valley Bowl we have decided not to pass this increase onto festival-goers.
“As one of the best value festivals in the country we want to keep things affordable and family friendly as possible, so people can still have a great day out at a very reasonable price.”
Next years’ festival is set to take place on Friday and Saturday, June 2 and 3.
Early-bird tickets go on sale from November 1, priced £15, rising to £17.50 on December 2 and £20 on January 13. Entry on the day will be £25. Tickets are £5 for young people aged 11 to 15, while under-10s go free, with no ticket required.
This year, the festival raised £6,200 for its nominated charities, Help for Heroes and Roundabout youth housing.
Next year’s charity is Sheffield Children’s Hospital.
