Bonjour from Newton House

Residents at Newton House enjoyed a wonderful French-themed day, filled with culture, creativity, delicious treats and a little joie de vivre!

The themed day started with some fun and intellectual armchair travel, as resident sat back, relaxed and were virtually whisked away to the beautiful country of France.

From its stunning landmarks and scenery to its rich culture and history, residents loved exploring everything this wonderful country has to offer.

To make the virtual trip even more authentic, the care homes fabulous Head Chef treated residents to a delicious selection of French inspired cheeses, crackers and wine.

There was plenty of chatting, reminiscing and laughter as everyone enjoyed thier tasty treats while continuing our journey through France.

After lunch, residents came back together to continue the themed day with a little creative flair!

Residents got busy creating their very own tissue paper masterpieces of the Eiffel Tower, filling our home with some fabulous French inspired artwork.

It was a wonderful day filled with learning, laughter, creativity and connection and we think our residents would agree that Newton House has definitely had a little taste of France!
