Mixed results for PHR Performance at Jerez but fine debut season
Seabright out of luck after two crashes in season finale
The Louth based PHR Performance World Sportbike team of Harrison Dessoy and Fenton Seabright travelled to Jerez in Spain for the final round of the 2026 World Sportbike championship, with Dessoy completing both races within the top 12 but Seabright involved in two crashes and failing to finish

However, after a promising first season in the World Sportbike Championship, Seabright finished sixth overall on 127 points while Dessoy was 12th on 90 points - a great achievement for both riders and team.
Team owner Peter Hickman said: “After a successful debut in the World Sportbike Championship, PHR Performance will continue in the series in 2027 with race-winner Fenton Seabright and podium finisher Harrison Dessoy, plus make our British Sportbike return with a one rider team with further news coming soon”.

Qualifying didn’t go as well as they hoped with Seabright starting the first race from a fourth row grid position and Dessoy back in 22nd place on row eight.
But the race was over for Seabright on the warm up lap when he was caught up in another rider’s accident and subsequently crashed out into the gravel trap through no fault of his own.
Seabright said: “We didn’t get to start the race today after an incident on the warm up lap involving another rider having brake failure. The PHR Performance lads have done a stellar job in getting the 660 ready for tomorrow.”
It was left to Dessoy to lead the charge on the PHR Performance Triumph Daytona 660.

He had a huge task ahead of him to gain ground from 22nd on the grid but he was determined to succeed and powered his way through the field, making up several places on each lap in an impressive ride through to seventh place on lap nine of 11.
But the gap to the top six was a bridge too far and Dessoy crossed the finish line in a strong seventh position.
Dessoy said: “That was a good result pulled today from 22nd on the grid.
“I was just out of touch with the leading group but was happy with how I progressed through the field during the race.
“I felt I made a good step in understanding the bike at the track and in these types of conditions, which I’m happy with.”
Seabright's bad luck continued on Sunday after a collision with Bruno Ieraci, who crashed and tagged the rear of the PHR Performance rider's machine, ending his race early.

Dessoy started Sunday’s final race of the season from the seventh row and once again began to move forward.
However, this time he just missed out on a top 10 finish and after making up eight places completed the race in a creditable 12th position.
