Carer celebrates milestone service at Rose Lodge Care Home
Rose Lodge care home, in Wisbech, was full celebrations for one of their staff who celebrated 20 years of service.
Jane McFetridge started at Rose Lodge in November 2005 and supports a variety of residents including those needing endo fife care and living with dementia. Jane has become a well-respected team member and often supports new staff integrate into their role
General Manager Meg Jones said: “Jane is a well-respected and liked member of our team with both residents, visitors and colleagues and it was so special to be able to celebrate her today and the loyalty and dedication she has shown to our residents and the home over the 20 years she has been with us, thank you Jane”
Jane said “Thank you so much to everyone, I really wasn’t expecting this today, so many things have changed in the time I have been here. I am lucky to have such great colleagues to work with and wonderful people to look after and I can’t imagine being anywhere else”
Jane was treated by her colleagues and Barchester Healthcare to flowers, cards, an amazon voucher and a £250 love 2 shop voucher and was then whisked off for lunch.
