Caistor beer festival to return on Friday - marking the 10th anniversary of the popular event
Visitors to this year’s Caistor Beer Festival are invited to raise a glass in celebrating 10 years of the popular event.
Organised by Caistor Lions, the event will return on Friday and Saturday, June 5 and 6, with a large selection of beers, ales, ciders and live music.

There will also be a special 10th anniversary beer – to commemorate the decade-long milestone this year. Called ‘Ten Summers’, it has been specially brewed for the event by Crooked Concept Brewing.
A spokesperson for the Lions said: “In 2016 we ran our first beer festival, and the rest, as they say, is history. But it is a history that has gathered its own legends and legacy so that the event is an integral part of the Caistor social calendar.

“The event also provides a significant contribution to the resources of the Lions charitable funds, enabling the club to support our good works around the area. There is a reason we run the beer festival beyond having a good time. We support local clubs and societies, we assist with individual cases of hardship, we donate to charity and disaster funds, and are always willing to receive requests for help and support.
“So thank you for coming out to help celebrate the 10th anniversary of our event. The overall format of our event has remained largely the same - a large marquee with a bar at one end and a stage at the other ensuring we can entertain you all weekend with live music largely provided by local artists and bands.
“Please raise a glass in appreciation over the weekend.”
The festival runs from 4-10-30pm on Friday and 12-10.30pm on Saturday, at South Street Park, Caistor.
