The film is said to be of considerable ‘slow-burning moral tension.’

Directed by Kristina Grozena and Peter Valchanov, the film shows the plight of a school teacher.

She is driven to desperate measures by both her pupils and personal circumstances as she tries to teach what it is to do right.

The film which is certified 15 will start from 7.30pm at Louth Playhouse Cinema in Cannon Street.

Filmviewing prices are £4 for Louth Film Club members, £6.90 for non-members and £5.50 for concessions.

The annual membership fee has been held at only £10 for the five years.
