Police investigate assault after injured man found in Boston street

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was found injured in Boston yesterday.

Officers believe the man, in his fifties, had been assaulted.

The man was taken to hospital. His injuries are not thought to be serious.

Police were called to the incident after the man was found near the Matalan store on Artillery Row, Boston, at around 7am yesterday (Wednesday November 25).

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: “We are investigating an offence of assault and would like to speak to anyone who weas in the area and saw anything suspicious between 8pm on Tuesday 24 November and 7 am on Wednesday 25 November.”
