House fire in Boston leaves 'severe' damage, fire service reports
A house fire in Boston yesterday (Tuesday, April 21) has caused ‘severe’ damage to part of the home, Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue Service has said.
The service was called to the outbreak in Oxford Street, at about 6.45pm, dispatching four crews in total – two from Boston and one each from Leverton and Kirton.

Firefighters used four sets of breathing apparatus, two hose reels and two short extension ladders in efforts to extinguish the blaze.
A spokesman said ‘severe’ fire damage was caused to one first-floor bedroom, along with smoke damage throughout the first floor.
Fire investigations are due to take place today, they added.
There were no reports of injuries or medical aid being required, the service said.
