Action Hero Parties have teamed up with the Guardian to offer readers a FREE place for parents and their children on the workshop, worth £4, which will take place at 62a Bridge Street, Worksop on Thursday, November 19 at 6pm.

Just call to book a place on 07973311745 or visit the Action Hero Parties Facebook page - then cut out the coupon in this week’s Guardian (out Friday, November 11) and take it along to the workshop.

With guidance from legendary superheroes like Spiderman, Batman and other characters kids will learn what to do when approached by a stranger and how to raise the alarm if they think they might be in danger.

Parents can pick up tips on ‘planning ahead’ and also practice scenarios with their child.

Action Hero Parties also offer affordable party packages to suit all age ranges and budgets.

Parties can be hosted at the Action Hero Parties studio and shop located at 62b Bridge Street Worksop, at your home or a venue of your choice.

The company also run a variety of activities for children at their centre, ranging from Martial Arts classes to commando NERF gun and princess training- they even have fitness classes for parents, which are all taught by qualified staff.
