The partner of a motorcyclist who died after a collision in Louth has issued an emotional tribute to him.

Gary Pidgley, 48, from the Horncastle area, sadly died following a serious collision involving his motorcycle and a van just after 1.45pm on Tuesday February 3, on North Holme Road in Louth.

Gary's partner Tara Woods has described how he was a father to four daughters and a nine month old son, “who he adored”.

She said: “He was a very good friend, a loving father and wonderful partner to me. He was cheeky, with the best laugh and sense of humour.

"He was a selfless man and would do anything for anybody without hesitation.”

Tara said he will be sorely missed, explaining: "Gary, was my person, and I was his. We had so many plans. Our lives will never be the same. I love him so much and will forever miss him. His loss is beyond words."

The family have asked for privacy at this time to allow them to start to grieve and come to terms with their loss.

The Investigating Officer with Lincolnshire Police would like to speak to anyone who was in the area and witnessed the collision. You can email [email protected] or call 01522 212316, referring to Incident 216 of February 3.
