Police BikeSafe team put RAF riders through their paces
Lincolnshire’s BikeSafe team were delighted to train several motorcyclists from RAF Coningsby at a recent event.
BikeSafe is delivered by serving officers from Lincolnshire Police's motorcycle team and highly skilled volunteers from IAM RoadSmart and RoSPA.

They bring a wealth of experience, including operational policing, collision investigation, advanced riding and VIP escorting.
The BikeSafe team took part in the BikeSafe event on Thursday, April 9, arranged by the RAF, and it involved the usual training given out to members of the public.
PC Jared Thorp, of Roads Policing for Lincolnshire Police, said: "BikeSafe is a fantastic opportunity for people to refresh their skills and to learn new ones. The feedback we get, from even the most sceptical, is that the training is invaluable.
"A warm welcome awaits and as a team we will build on the skills and experience bikers already have."
