Public Consultation on Swinderby Neighbourhood Plan
Residents are being invited to have their say on a proposed neighbourhood plan that will help guide future development and planning decisions in Swinderby.

Prepared by Swinderby Parish Council with the support from the local community, the neighbourhood plan sets out a shared vision for the parish and includes planning policies that will be used when determining planning applications in the area.
The neighbourhood plan has been formally submitted to the District Council to be subject to a period of publicity. The public consultation runs from Monday, October 26 to Monday, December 7 2026.
The plan, supporting information and the response forms can be downloaded from the North Kesteven District Council website.
For a hard copy of the documents, contact Councillor Lloyd from Swinderby Parish Council on 07851 797226. Hard copies are also available at the District Council Offices in Sleaford - contact the Partnerships Team on 01529 414155.
In addition, two drop-in sessions to view the neighbourhood plan, and to provide feedback, have been arranged at Swinderby village hall on Monday, November 23 and Thursday, November 26 (both 4.30pm-7.00pm).
Any comments on the neighbourhood plan must be submitted in writing to North Kesteven District Council using the response forms by 5pm on Monday, December 7 2026.
Completed forms should be returned via email to: [email protected] or by post to: Partnerships Team, North Kesteven District Council, District Council Offices, Kesteven Street, Sleaford, Lincolnshire, NG34 7EF.
An independent Examiner, who will report on the plan prior to a local referendum on the final document, will consider all comments received.
If you wish to be notified of the District Council’s decision on whether to accept the Examiner’s recommendation, and any future progress with the plan, state this in your representation. Please note that all representations received will be made available to the public.
